The selection process of UP Sub Inspector Recruitment has been changed and we will get you the related information in this post. Its information is also given on the official web site. Earlier, the board held 4 papers of 400 numbers and the candidates had to score 50 marks in each paper. Overall, the candidates had to score 200 out of 400 to pass. But now the selection rule has changed. Now candidates have to score 35 marks in each paper to pass. But overall we have to take 200 points out of 400.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) makes every effort to declare the results as soon as possible after the written examination of direct recruitment of Sub Inspector and ASI is over. The list of successful candidates who get more than 50 per cent marks in this exam is released in ascending order of their registration number.

According to this year's recruitment notification, the recruitment exam of UP Police will be for SI (Intelligence), ASI (Account) and ASI (Ministerial). Candidates shortlisted in the written examination will be called for Document Verification and Physical Standard Examination (PST). Candidates who are successful in Document Verification and Physical Standard Examination will be called for typing test. Computer typing test will be of qualifying nature.
