IBPS Clerk / PO Examination FAQs

What is IBPS exam all about?
Previously individual banks used to conduct their own recruitment examination. After the introduction of the common written examination (CWE), conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), all the participating banks across India are now able to recruit candidates for the post of Clerk (Junior Associates) / PO (Probationary Officers) through one common exam. IBPS is a recruitment body. It conducts examinations for the recruitment of graduate candidates in various participating public sector banks.
Can a final year student apply for IBPS clerk/PO?
A candidate must possess a graduation degree to apply for IBPS Clerk/PO. Please note that candidates in their final year of graduation will not be considered eligible to appear in the exam.
What is the age limit for IBPS Clerk?
A candidate must be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years old as per the notification date.
How many attempts are there for IBPS Clerk Exam?
There is no limit. You can apply as many times as you can within your age limit.
